Dal convento di San Francesco (XIV sec.) con il suo trittico di Antoniazzo Romano (XV sec.) e gli affreschi attribuiti al Sodoma, attraverso il ponte omonimo (XIV sec.), si giunge al centro della città da cui si snoda una ragnatela di antiche stradine e suggestive piazzette dominate dalla maestosa Rocca Abbaziale. L'edificio, abbellito da affreschi tardo-rinascimentali e tempere settecentesche di Liborio Coccetti, conserva ancora oggi l'altero fascino dei signori che l'abitarono: Rodrigo Borgia, futuro Papa Alessandro VI, e Marcantonio Colonna.
From the convent of St. Francis (XIV century) with its triptych of Antoniazzo Romano and some frescoes of Sodoma, through the bridge with the same name we reach the centre of the town with its many old streets and squares dominated by the Rocca Abbaziale which still has the fascination of the people who lived there: Rodrigo Borgia, later Pope as Alexandre VI, and Marcantonio Colonna. Very interesting are the frescoes of Liborio Coccetti.
Von dem Kloster des Hl. Franziskus (XIV Jh.), mit seinem Triptychon von Antoniazzo Romano (XV Jh.) und Fresken die dem Sodoma zugeschrieben werden, erreichen wir, durch die gleichnarmige Brücke (XIV Jh.), das Zentrum der stadt, won wo aus sich ein Spinnengewebe alter Gasses und bezaubernder Plätzchen windet, behernscht von einer wündet, beherrscht von einer würdevolen Felsenabtei. Der Bau, reich an Frisen, Arnamenten und Fresken von Liborio Coccetti, bewahrt noch heute den stolzen Zauber der Heren die dort wohnten: Rodrigo Borgia, der spätere Papst Alexander VI, und MArcantonio Colonna.
